USIC players already let you take your favourite tunes just about anywhere; now your wallet is set to become home for your music collection. Amid the business gadgets and systems on show at the CeBIT Australia technology show, which opened in Sydney yesterday, one consumer device stood out from the crowd: a credit-card-thin MP3 music player. Available in Australia from July for less than $100, the WalletMP3 is the slimmest in the world and would not cause a bulge in your wallet when placed alongside your credit cards. Previewed at the show by Sydney-based company Walletflash Australia, the super-thin music player can store up to 2GB of music, roughly about 400 songs. Walletflash spokesman Gilad Greenbaum said the system was rugged and durable, and at a weight of a mere 16g would be no extra burden to carry. "It has been really thoroughly tested, in ovens and stress tests, and is very, very tough," Mr Greenbaum said. "In fact, it's even waterproof, so there's nothing stopping you even going swimming with your favourite soundtrack."
