Excellence in Engineering  Design Award Winner

Granted for the CeBIT 2007 in Austraila, and though most awards categories are closed to non-Australian and New Zealand companies, the CeBIT.AU Walletex - Excellence in Engineering Design Award Winner  for its innovative credit-card sized Wallet MP3 Player and the ultra-slim Wallet Flash USB Flash DriveExcellence in Engineering Design was granted to Walletex Microelectronics Ltd. for its unique designe MP3 Player, the Wallet MP3 and its USB Flash Drive device - the Wallet Flash for its ultra-slim credit-card body.
"Attracting enormous interest at CeBIT Australia was the credit card-sized 8GB flash memory cards from Israeli firm Walletex, which was represented at the exhibition by Australian distributor G-innovations. The Walletex card received the CeBIT.AU Excellence in Engineering Innovation Award.
G-innovations  principal Gilad Greenbaum said that although the convenience of the card had attracted people’s attention at CeBIT Australia, it was the serious business applications that can be built on the Walletex line of products that most impressed potential customers.
“I was always impressed by the elegance and simplicity of the Wallet Flash design, so it is gratifying that the product has been recognised with a CeBIT award,” Mr Greenbaum said."
