THE world's slimmest MP3 player has been unveiled - and it is barely thicker than a credit card.

It's the latest gadget for the ultra hi-tech who find today's tiny music players too big.

The Wallet-MP3 is thin enough to store with your bank cards and offers up to 4GB of storage - enough for 1000 songs.

It is waterproof, dustproof and temperature resistant and is said to be made from unbreakable plastic.

The music player connects to a computer using a USB connector that plugs into the side.

All the music fan has to do is plug in headphones and switch it on.

It is due to hit shelves in June at a price yet to be fixed - long enough to save up and avoid using a credit card.
