Oh tiny MP3 players, how rarely you adequately balance size with functionality. MP3 players can be made about as small as you could reasonably expect, yet there's a limit to how small you want something to be. Now that the size race is over, it's time for you designers out there to actually make good, creative use of this newfound size freedom.

MP3 players can be made about as small as you could reasonably expect, yet there's a limit to how small you want something to be. Now that the size race is over, it's time for you designers out there to actually make good, creative use of this newfound size freedom. Here's an example of a slim player being creatively designed rather than just shoved into the smallest casing possible: the Walletex Wallet MP3 Player. Slightly thicker than a credit card and the same shape, it'll fit into your wallet and save you pocket real estate by getting out of your pockets altogether. I'm not quite brave enough to sit on my MP3 player all day, but you ladies who keep your wallets in your purses could benefit nicely from this technology. Sure, it doesn't do everything under the sun like some credit-card-shaped gadgets we've seen, but this one has the benefit of actually existing. At least it will come June when it's released. |
